I'm so happy we found this place!

The chicken tenders were hand breaded and the catfish was some of the best I've ever had.

Make sure you get the Mac & Cheese but the dirty rice is good too. I also got to taste the jambalaya.  Yum!!!

My boyfriend and I were in the area and looked up high-rated foo places in Bryan. Definitely did not disappoint! A hidden gem, and a family owned establishment!
Parking is a bit tricky but the staff here kindly guided us to where we should actually park.
We ordered a sweet tea (there was some lemonade mixed it and it was addicting and amazing!) Highly would recommend on these hot, summer day.
Service was attentive and all of the food was for sure made fresh.
We ordered the Cajun sampler and a lunch combo (with chicken, Mac & cheese, and jambalaya). Everything had its own unique taste and surprisingly, nothing was greasy when it came out. Each bite was crispy and textured, even as left overs! (And there was quite a bit because it was a good amount of food!)
Wish we had enough room to try the deserts or pies... maybe next time!

My friend and I visited this place after I had been dying to try it for months now. Immediately, we made a mistake by parking in a no parking zone. The waiter was kind enough to come outside and tell us where to park.

The atmosphere is absolutely homey. We were allowed to choose a seat but I would imagine that during busy hours we would be seated according to our party size. The music was phenomenal and set a soul food vibe. BET played on the television. It feels great to support black-owned business (especially in Bryan/College Station).

I immediately got a sweet tea (and later found out they have in-house Koolaid) and was surprised that it was made from powder and not steeped tea bags. Still, this is how my grandmother in Marlin, TX used to make it so it felt like home. My friend was allowed to bring in her own water bottle and I found that quite generous.

We ordered the Boudin balls (I should have assumed they were meat-based, although my friend does not eat red meat). Overall, I ended up getting all of them so I did not mind! They were delicious and the sauce served with them was indescribable.

I wanted to order the $23.99 special of 1lb shrimp and 1lb crawfish but I decided to go with the catfish dinner plate. For $13 I received enough fish to eat 3 times (seriously...). These portions are HUGE!!! My friend's po-boy was bigger than any local sandwich (even the giant at Jersey Mike's!).

The family vibe made this experience wonderful. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know in the BCS area. Ignore all of the racial hatred in the comment section (most people dining here were white and my friend was of Asian descent).

This place is amazing! The food is great and the staff is outstanding. This will be my restaurant from now on when I'm traveling in the area.
